If you are considering our school for your child, please arrange a visit with us by contacting the school office. Visiting the school will enable you see our classrooms and facilities, meet the teachers and ask any questions you may have.
Children can start nursery from the beginning of the term following their third birthday. We have 32 places nursery places available – 16 in each session (am and pm). To apply for a place, please fill in the application form, available from the school office.
If the nursery is oversubscribed, a waiting list will be held and children will be offered places in accordance with usual entry criteria as detailed in the Admissions Policy.
Reception Class
Children start school by joining Reception Class at the beginning of the September after their fourth birthday. We have 30 Reception places available. If you wish to apply for a Reception class place for your child, you must follow the Kirklees Council Admissions process.
For a September 2025 Reception place, you must apply between 1 September 2024 and 15 January 2025.
Once Kirklees Council have confirmed your child’s place, we will contact you to inform you of our transition arrangements, to support you and your child in preparing to start school.
In-year Admissions
An in-year admission is when a child already attends a school but wants to transfer to another school outside the usual transfer time, for example because the child is moving to a new address.
